Educator Panel Discussion on Using Gaggle Student E-mail

When I worked as a teacher in the classroom about 3 years ago at a different district before moving to the technology department where I am currently, I kept asking our Technology Department to provide me student email accounts, but was always turned down. Finally, I searched on my own and found Gaggle.net, and immediately used it with my students. My students loved it. Gaggle.net not only provides an email account, but also provides other tools that students found useful, especially the digital… Continue

Mr. Robert Goetsch went over some projects his students created in his Video Tech I, II, and III cla… Continue

Interactive Classroom Projects Using Nintendo Wii Controllers

This morning, my first day at the TCEA 2009 Conference, I attend the Interactive Classroom Projects Using Nintendo Wii Controllers session presented by Robby McCraw at 10:30 AM. Robby is a history teacher who happened to figure out how to modify a Wii controller to make it work as an interactive white board and "virtual reality" tool to be used with Google Earth and other applications.

I was a little disappointed that Robby could not show us an actual demonstration of his creation, he did provi… Continue
